I’m thrilled to share something truly exceptional with you. We’ve recently completed a unique transformation at Carjoy: a Matra Murena now sports a powerful 3.0 V6 engine from Alfa Romeo. We’ve meticulously removed the original engine and installed the Alfa Romeo 164’s V6, secured with a custom-made sub-frame. This upgrade adds an impressive 70 horsepower, bringing the total to 186 hp. Coupled with the Murena’s remarkably low weight, this car promises exhilarating acceleration and an exciting driving experience.

The engine itself was completely overhauled in 2021, featuring numerous new components. So not only will you experience thrilling speed, but you’ll also enjoy the ride in comfort with the plush beige leather interior. The purple paintwork remains in good condition, although it has been on the car for a while and is no longer brand new. The mechanical condition of the Murena is excellent, as we’ve been maintaining it since 2003, and the engine has seen minimal use since its overhaul.
