This driver seat slide rail has been fully restored from the ground up. It was completely disassembled down to its individual components, allowing every part to be properly cleaned and inspected. To ensure lasting protection, the rail was finished with a professional-applied 2K epoxy coating — a high-build, chemically-curing finish known for its exceptional hardness and resistance to corrosion, chipping, and wear. Unlike standard spray paint, 2K epoxy creates a tough, long-term barrier that holds up to years of use under the seat.

Once the coating had fully cured, the rail was carefully reassembled by hand. All moving parts were freshly lubricated to restore smooth, low-friction operation, and the finished assembly was function-tested to confirm it slides correctly through its full range of travel with no binding or play.
