At Carjoy, we are first and foremost a specialist workshop dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Matra vehicles. Our webshop is an extension of this mission — it exists to support fellow enthusiasts with rare and high-quality parts. We are not a large-scale online retailer, which means our shipping process reflects the hands-on nature of our work.

Below you’ll find clear information about shipping times, carriers, combined orders, and our refund policy for restored items.

Shipping Times

We divide our parts into two main categories:

Ready to Ship

Some products are kept in stock and can be shipped quickly. These items are typically dispatched within 1 to 2 business days after your order is placed.

Restored to Order

Many of our parts, especially rare or refurbished components, are restored individually or in small batches. These items are prepared on demand and generally ship within up to 10 business days.

Shipping times may vary slightly depending on:

  • Current workshop workload

  • Availability of core parts or materials

  • The complexity of the restoration

If you’re ever unsure or working with a deadline, you’re welcome to contact us before placing your order.

We currently ship with:

  • PostNL

  • DPD

All parcels are carefully packaged to protect delicate or restored components. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

We ship both within the EU and internationally. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your order.

If your order includes both ready-to-ship and restored-to-order items, we will usually wait until all parts are ready and ship them together. This helps reduce shipping costs and ensures a more sustainable packaging process.

However, if you prefer to receive ready-to-ship items earlier, you can contact us to request split shipping for an additional fee.

For parts that are restored to order, refunds are not possible once restoration work has begun. This is because each part is prepared specifically for your order, and significant time and resources go into the process.

If a restored part is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will:

  • Accept a return of the item

  • Repair or replace it under our warranty

We take great care in our restoration process and stand behind the quality of our work. If something goes wrong, we’ll make it right.

Please keep in mind:

  • We are a workshop first, and a webshop second. Shipping times may vary depending on how busy the workshop is.

  • We do our best to ship within the stated timeframes, but delays may occasionally occur — especially with rare or complex restorations.

  • We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we are always happy to provide updates on your order status.
